I’ve had this annoying shimmy through the wheel once I get past about 80 and it comes and goes depending on the road, so I assumed it was just a wheel balance thing and got the tyres done. That helped a little but didn’t fix it, and now there’s a faint clunk over bumps too which makes me think it’s in the steering or front end rather than the wheels. Someone in another group dropped this link https://jeepservicemussafah.ae/steering-repair/ and said they had good results there with a similar problem, so I’m considering getting it properly inspected instead of guessing again. Before I do, has anyone had a shimmy that turned out to be steering related rather than tyres, and what did it end up being? I don’t want to keep paying for balances if the real issue is a worn part.
