I’ve got a mid range sedan with fabric seats and I’ve been toying with the idea of swapping to leather for a while now, mainly because fabric in this climate gets gross fast and cleaning it properly is a losing battle with kids in the car. The quotes I’ve been getting vary wildly and I don’t really know what separates a good job from a bad one. A friend had his done at Zenfo Auto Services car upholstery and swears the finish looks factory, but I want a few more opinions before committing since it’s not a cheap job. Has anyone here done a fabric to leather conversion and been happy with it years later? I’m mainly worried about the stitching quality and whether the leather starts sagging or peeling after a couple of summers. Would also love to know if it’s better to keep it simple or go for something custom with contrast stitching.
