Infrastructure Engineer (Infrastructure, VMware, Hyper-V, SAN, Storage, AD, Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, Networking, Azure, Office365, Server, Support) – Permanent – High Wycombe

Charles Simon Associates are currently looking for an Infrastructure Engineer on a permanent basis for a fast growing business based in High Wycombe.

Location: High Wycombe

Salary: £35,000 – £38,000 Per Annum

Skills/Requirements for the Infrastructure Engineer:

* Previous experience working in a similar position

* Strong skills within Windows Server up to version 2019

* Virtualization experience within Hyper-V and/or VMware

* Experience of Active Directory

* Office 365

* Networking skills within DNS/DHCP and/or VLAN’s

* Storage skills within SAN storage

* MS Azure is highly desirable

* Any scripting is desirable

Start date for the Infrastructure Engineer is ASAP

The Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for:

* Managing 3rd line support requests

* Providing internal network support were requested.

* Acting as the point of escalation for the 1st and 2nd line teams

* Working on tickets raised regarding presales quotes in a timely manner

* Providing excellent service to Stakeholders both internally and externally

* Helping to train and induct new and inexperienced members of the team

* Control of documented information e.g., review, amend and approve company documents relating to the role were directed
