Warehouse Operative Duties:

· Loading and unloading delivery vehicles (By hand or with a forklift truck)

· Prepare orders by processing requests and supply orders; picking items; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area

· Checking for damaged or missing items

· Sort and place items on racks, shelves or in bins according to organisational standards

· Maintains inventory controls by collecting stock location orders, printing request, recording amounts of items received or distributed through a computer. May also assist in counting of physical inventory

· Prepare parcels for mailing

· Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat; Sweep, dust and mop. Organise warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times

· Wear the proper safety equipment

Due to the nature of the role, the following skills are required:

· Detail oriented and accurate

· Trustworthy and reliable

· Self-motivated

· Articulate and a good communicator

· Good with English (verbally and written)

· Proficient in using a computer (Word, Excel and Outlook)

· Able to work in a team

All training will be provided.
