Trainee Costs Lawyer, Law Costs Draftsman, Costs Law, Permanent, High Wycombe
Trainee Costs Lawyer is required by a welcoming and reputable Legal Costs firm. They are looking for a bright individual to join their friendly team in their offices based in Wooburn Green, High Wycombe.
This is an exciting opportunity for a Trainee Costs Lawyer looking for personal and career development opportunities; allowing you to build upon your experience within a modern and dynamic practice.
The Role & Responsibilities:
* Become part of the team of Costs Lawyers/Draftsmen preparing budgets, bills of costs, drafting POD/POR and attending CCMC and detailed assessments – dealing with cases ‘cradle to grave’
* Responsible for the management of a caseload, under supervision.
* Provide sound technical advice on complex costs issues ensuring the quick progression of cases
Required Skills & Experience:
* Ideally be educated to degree level,
* Good knowledge of MS Word and Excel, along with excellent literacy skills.
* Previous experience working in a legal practice would be an advantage but not essential.
* Excellent communication, analytical and research skills with an ability to think outside the box
* A flexible and committed approach to work
