We have an exciting new opening for a passionate HSE Engineer to join our dynamic organisation. Leading a small team, you will advise on all Health, Safety and Environmental requirements on site. You may also have the opportunity to travel and work from other sites across the UK.

Key Responsibilities of the HSE Engineer:
* Implementation of Health, Safety & Environmental strategy
* Maintenance of site statutory Health, Safety and Environmental records
* Advise Senior Site Management on staff issues connected with HSE
* Development of emergency response procedures
* Manage & Co-ordinate activities and processes to ensure continued compliance against ISO 14001 and proactively achieve ISO 45001 accreditation
* Maintain and report on HSE statistics on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
* Identify any Health & Safety and Environmental training needs and coordinate as appropriate
* Complete risk assessments and maintain comprehensive statutory risk registers
* Monitoring of workplace conditions, by means of audit/inspection and keeping of records
* Co-ordinate and drive all Health & Safety and Environmental initiatives and improvements
Skills & Experience Required:
* Experience in similar HSE Engineer role
* British Safety Council (BSC) Level 6 Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health or;
* NEBOSH National Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety
* Membership of IOSH at an appropriate grade (MIOSH or CMIOSH)
* Registered as a Recognised Safety Practitioner or Chartered Safety Practitioner
* Highly motivated, with desire to progress and grow with the business
