Our client is looking for an experienced Health & Safety Manager to join their rapidly expanding construction business.

You will be responsible for the maintenance and implementation of the H&S policies across a number of sites within the Bucks area, communicating with all staff to help minimise potential risks and then developing practical, cost-effective H&S systems and solutions.

All applicants must have access to their own vehicle to commute to work and operational sites

Requirements

* NEBOSH diploma – Essential

* Previous experience within a Managerial Health & Safety position

* Must be confident in influencing, communicating, managing and presenting to groups and individuals at all levels

* Experience managing multiple sites, ideally within the manufacturing/construction or relevant industry

* Ability to identify needs, prioritise workloads, set achievable targets, evaluate progress and meet deadlines

* Ability to exercise willingness and resourcefulness to propose initiatives and accept responsibilities

* Valid driving licence

Responsibilities

* Providing advice, guidance and support at both strategic and operational levels as well as using your own initiative to identify upcoming challenges and risks

* Increasing awareness of all H&S matters throughout the company

* Conducting site inspections to audit H&S practices and identify/implement improvement plans

* Manage all First Aid and Emergency procedures

* Oversee H&S inductions with new employees and ensuring all existing teams are up-to-date with H&S policies and procedures

* Monthly reporting of improvements, updates and statistics to senior management

* Conceive and improve the training matrix for all staff

£30,000 to £40,000 per annum, dependent on experience
