Senior Mechanical Design Engineer – £40k-£50k – Buckinghamshire – Electro-mechanical
My client specialises in the design, manufacture and worldwide distribution of powered electro-mechanical products. As part of the company’s expansion plan, they are looking to grow the engineering team with a passionate Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to work on a range of different projects ranging from product improvements to blank sheet design, developing new innovative products.
Main Duties:
+ Design electro-mechanical products
+ 3D CAD design
+ Blank sheet design
+ Design from concept through to product launch
+ Prototyping and testing
+ Concept generation
+ Product validation
+ Work in a multi-disciplinary design team
Experience:
+ Degree in Engineering or equivalent
+ Strong 3D CAD skills – Ideally solidworks
+ Experience in designing precision mechanisms
+ Experience in different manufacturing processes – injection moulding
+ Hands on and practical – prototyping
+ Experience in designing electro-mechanical products would be beneficial
The salary will be between £40,000-£50,000 depending on experience. There is also a generous benefit package available including a £3,000 bonus.
