Requirements of the role;

* At least 12 months experience working of working in childcare, as an Early Years Practitioner.

* The ability to work well within a team

* be enthusiastic and a good role model for the children and other Early Years Practitioners

* Planning and preparing activities to develop all aspects of the child's individual development in a stimulating atmosphere. This planning is done in line with the EYFS, ensuring indoor and outdoor play.

* Ensure the care and supervision of the children with regard to their physical, emotional and intellectual needs

Responsibilities of the role;

* Ensuring confidentiality is maintained in the nursery.

* Early Years Practitioners must maintain a record of children's development as required under the EYFS framework. Such records about children must be available to parents

* Work with parents as partners and discuss their child’s development, ensuring effective communication within the nursery.
