Diesel Generator Engineer

Toro Recruitment is looking for an experienced Diesel Generator Engineer based in the North west region to join the field service team of a successful generator company. The Ideal Diesel Generator Engineer will have experience in the planned preventative and reactive maintenance of Standby Diesel Generators.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing generator company. The role is a remote based position where you will be provided with a vehicle to commute to the site within your assigned area and utilise your engineering skills to carry out servicing on a range of machinery.

The responsibilities of the Diesel Generator Engineer will include:

* The planned preventative and reactive maintenance of standby diesel generators

* Servicing and repair on customer sites

* Complete thorough daily reports

* Travel between sites working remotely

* Always adhering to company health and safety policies.

Requirements:

* Good verbal and writing skills.

* Minimum of 2 years' experience working on relevant machinery.

* Full UK driving licence.

* Health and Safety qualifications would be beneficial.

* HNC or Equivalent in relevant engineering discipline.

* Good IT Skills

What this is offering:

* £16 per hour

* Overtime available at 1.5x Monday to Friday and 2x Saturday to Sunday

* Standard working ours (Apply online only) Monday to Friday

* No Official Call Out Rota
