Technical Account Manager responsibilities include developing long term relationships with a number of key customers. Liaising with technical buyers and engineering departments within the customers’ organisational structure. Ensure timely and successful delivery of our products and services according to customers’ needs. Especially in these specific areas.
▪ Complete Deal Management throughout the lifecycle to include quote costing, generation, response times and follow up
▪ Management of deals within the CRM software
▪ Customer liaison via email, phone and face to face meetings
▪ Handling of Customer complaints in a timely and professional manner
▪ Reporting of pre-agreed business metrics and KPIs
▪ Contribution to high level business strategy
▪ Ensuring all quotes generated are competitive in terms of price and lead time
▪ Feedback VOC (Voice of the Customer) to our Engineering, Operations and Production teams
Responsibilities:
* Be the primary point of contact and build long term relationships with customers.
* Responsible for the timely issuing of accurate quotations to customers.
* Be on hand to feedback both internally and to the customer, any questions regarding the quote.
* Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key accounts and their representatives.
* Communicate the progress of orders to the customers/buyers.
* Be responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction.
* Forecast and track key account metrics.
* Ensure all key accounts are aware of the comapanies capabilities, new technologies, available capacity, and current lead times.
* Organise and attend regular meetings with key customers.
* Be the conduit between customer and internal teams/managers.
Requirements:
* Proven account management or other relevant technical or industry experience.
* Ability to communicate effectively and present credibly at all levels of an organisation.
* Experience in delivering client-focussed solutions based on their requirements.
* Ability to maintain and manage multiple projects in an organised and logical manner, paying strict attention to detail.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Self-motivated and able to thrive in a results-driven environment.
* Demonstrate an ability to prioritise amongst competing tasks.
* Must be a natural relationship builder with integrity, reliability and maturity.
* Has the ability to understand technical concepts and communicate those effectively both internally and externally
