Brownlee Dean are delighted to be recruiting for a national civil engineering contractor who have secured a high amount of work in central England. They're carrying out a recruitment drive to bring the best and upcoming civil engineering professionals in the region into their business.
The purpose of this role is to provide key technical and setting out support on site to the delivery team.
Roles & Responsibilities:
* Setting Out and Surveying with choice of instrumentation
* Verify CAD drawings and schedules
* Carrying out Inspection Test Plans
* Liaise with consultants and direct on site subcontractors
* Provide support to Project Manager and Operations Manager
* Prepare Method Statements and Risk Assessments
* Enforce Quality and Health & Safety
* Maintain excellent customer service with internal and external stakeholders
Key Experience:
* Proven experience in Site Engineering (minimum of two years setting out experience)
* Good knowledge of surveying equipment (total station, GPS, levelling)
* Proven use of CAD
* Ideally you will have worked on high value projects previously
* IT literate – engineering software's and Microsoft Office.
Personal Skills:
* Good relationship builder at all levels
* Good level of numeracy
* Can do and flexible approach to work
* Effective decision maker
Certificates:
* CSCS
* UK Driving Licence
* Minimum of HNC OR HND in Civil Engineering
