We are seeking a Site Services Manager at Huntercombe Hospital Maidenhead located in Taplow, within 1/2 mile of junction 7 of the M4, two miles from Maidenhead and six miles from Windsor.
We are a Tier 4 Child and Adolescent Mental Health (CAMHS) hospital. The hospital is set in a 13th century manor house with extensive gardens, we look after children and young people aged 12 to 18 years with mental health needs.
As Site Services Manager you will be supporting the Hospital Director with the management and security of the domestic, laundry, catering and maintenance services, including the Health and Safety requirements of the campus and the overall maintenance and running of the Wards – focusing on the non-clinical activities of the service.
As Site Services Manager working your main duties will be:-
• Ensuring that all areas of the establishment provide a safe, welcoming, clean and hygienic environment
• Overseeing the maintenance of the site, including the management of the Catering/Housekeeping/Maintenance Departments
• Supervising the day-to-day issues, ensuring that all utilities are in good repair
• Monitoring of all company vehicles
• Playing an active role in the Health and Safety at site
• Budgetary responsibility for all non-clinical activities/services
• Working as part of the Senior Management Team
• Contributing to, implementing, monitoring and evaluating plans aimed at bringing about continual improvement.
• Ensuring compliance with all company policies and regulatory requirements – coordinating auditing, investigative and policy procedures
• To be available for ‘On call’ duties To join The Huntercombe Group as Site Services Manager you will:
• Have an understanding of Health & Safety regulations, Maintenance, Catering, Housekeeping departments and vehicle maintenance
• Have a creative approach to problem solving, taking into account time, cost, efficiency and local and corporate impact
• Be able to demonstrate efficient budgetary control
• Have a good working knowledge of Microsoft packages, such as Word, Excel, Power Point, Email and the Internet
• Have excellent organisational and time-management qualities
• Have first class inter-personal skills and demonstrate clear communication skills
• Be able to lead by example, promoting team work and support for your colleagues
• Be able to take ownership of and drive own development
