Executive Assistant
Stowe is one of the best-known co-educational boarding Schools in the country. In the remarkable setting of Stowe House and its world-famous parkland and landscape gardens near Buckingham, it provides the finest education and inspiration for nearly 820 boys and girls, aged 13 to 18.
We are now looking to recruit an Executive Assistant to be a member of the team charged with raising significant funds for the Campaign for Stowe, primarily to provide financial assistance for talented and deserving children. You will work within the close-knit team, and specifically with the Development Director, on the planning and organisation of events and other initiatives, prospect research, and a broad range of fundraising activities.
The role requires someone with strong interpersonal and exceptional organisational skills; someone who is able to ‘multi-task’ and work under pressure, and with the ability to get on with and build relationships with members of the Stowe community at all levels and from all backgrounds. Excellent IT and communication skills (both verbal and written) are important and experience in the use of databases would be highly regarded too.
Hours: 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday 9.00am-5.00pm, 52 weeks per year
Salary: dependent on experience
