Responsibilities:
Building the Swish Network is the focus of the business and it is time to recruit a Project Coordinator to support the next stage of growth. Reporting into the Project Manager, the Project coordinators role is to coordinate the successful completion of the project deliverables, liaising with internal and external project stakeholders, on time and to budget, in line with the requirements set out under the NEC3 contract and the business requirements.
Although the project manager is ultimately responsible for a company’s projects, the Project Coordinator makes sure all aspects of the project run smoothly and efficiently. Project Coordinators work with various members of the project team and the client to develop a timeline, create schedules, and oversee progress to make sure goals are met on time.
Requirements:
* Being a Project Coordinator in any field requires a lot of problem-solving and multitasking. You are coordinating multiple aspects of a project in a fast-paced and challenging work environment and communicating all the issues and risks of the project.
* As a Project Coordinator, your job is to make sure that everyone is on the same page and speaking the same language. Therefore, it is essential to have excellent organisational and communication skills.
* Manage and analyse the reporting requirements of the contractor & direct labour workforce and provide a summary of any major risks to the Senior Project Manager.
* Resource scheduling
* Supply chain delivery and availability monitoring and assessing completion of activities within the activity schedule.
* Regular reporting on the number of properties passed and properties ready for service.
* Regular updates to the data bases that feed the dashboards back in Head office. Ensure the team reporting into this role have regular input and visibility into these visual displays to show progress.
* Experience in avoiding compensation events and bringing them to a timely, amicable resolution when they do occur.
* Collaborative and good communication between PM, Build Manager and Supervisor is to be encouraged on all projects as well as keeping an up-to-date Risk Register and share regularly with the management team.
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft 365, Excel, PowerPoint and Project.
* An understanding of the technical part of the network rollout is required.
* Full Driving License that permits you to drive a vehicle in the UK
