Head of Operational Delivery

We are looking for an exceptional individual to join our Operations Leadership Team in a new post as the Head of Operational Delivery. The role is an exciting opportunity to be part of our team who directly impact patient care, overseeing the support services that are essential to the organisations ability to deliver outstanding care. The individual will be responsible for the delivery of non-clinical elements of the operations including aviation and fleet management, supply chain, medicines management and operational estate.

The successful candidate will work alongside our Head of Quality & Patient Safety and Head of Clinical Services and will report directly to the Director of Operations. The role involves participating in the organisation’s Senior Manager on Call roster, providing support to all TVAA employees 24/7, so the ideal candidate will need to be flexible, willing to adapt and able to respond to the needs of TVAA.

The successful candidate will want to continue to maintain our CQC Outstanding rating, through collaborative partnership working with external regulators and stakeholders and internal teams. This is an opportunity to lead our operations support team and ensure optimisation of non-clinical systems within the scope of operation. Having a working understanding of aviation regulators and an ability to communicate effectively with everyone involved is essential to the post.

The Head of Operational Delivery will be able to lead and oversee bespoke operational projects and be comfortable with working with others to ensure effective delivery of strategic goals. Working as part of the OLT means providing opinion and fully participating in discussions surrounding a wide range of both operational and organisational matters. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate project management experience as well as an ability to take ideas and implement practical, manageable and sustainable solutions.
