We are seeking an experienced Paraplanner for a fantastic IFA Practice about 10 miles outside of High Wycombe.
The Company
Our client are a progressive firm of Independent Financial Advisers which has established successful business relationships with firms of Accountants and Solicitors.
Offering clients strategic financial planning on Investment, Pension, Insurance and IHT, you will be located within a modern office in a great location conveniently close to J5 of the M40. The business has an excellent reputation for quality and is looking for a motivated individual to join the team and assist with the further growth of the company.
The role
Working as Paraplanner, you will be reporting to the Paraplanning Manager, responsible for providing high quality technical support with a good standard of literacy, written grammar and numeracy. Day to day duties will include, but not be limited to:
* Fund and product research
* Writing bespoke and compliant suitability reports
* Preparing client portfolio review analysis
* Overseeing the implementation of investments
* Cash Flow Modelling
* Attending client meetings
* Receiving instructions during debriefings from advisers following client meetings.
* Interpreting data obtained by advisers during client meetings.
* Analysing data and using research tools to provide solutions to meet client needs and objectives.
* Consolidation of client needs and objectives, recommendations and course of action in a written format via a suitability letter, client specific illustration and key features document.
* Carrying out all tasks in a manner consistent with compliance procedures.
* Preparation of existing client files ready for reviews.
* Ensuring all client files are compliant on an ongoing basis
Requirements for this role
* To be considered for this position, you will have a sound working knowledge within the Financial Services sector, across the full range of products, including investments, pensions, retirement solutions and both personal and business protection.
* You will have good report writing skills with the ability to conduct research in connection with protection, investment and pre/post retirement planning.
* You should have experience in supporting advisers with a range of tasks, including correspondence with product providers and clients, researching products and writing suitability reports, as well as providing support to other members of a paraplanning team.
* You will also be a good communicator and have a working knowledge of the financial services industry across the full range of investments, pensions, retirement solutions, trusts and both personal and business protection.
* You will be computer literate with the ability to use Microsoft Office.
* You will be at least Level 4 diploma qualified with a minimum of 3 years paraplanning experience.
