Morson are partnering with a large Engergy client who are looking to recruit a Head of Project Management. Our client operates across multiple sites in the UK. Head office for our client is in Buckinghamshire but there is flexibility to base this role for a number of other UK locations with flexibility to work from home for 2-3 days per week.

The Head of Project Management will report directly to the Group Business Development Director with accountability to execute on the strategy for a specific project and internal business development activity. This role has the main focus on our clients core business, which includes the next generation fuels. 

This role will suit a technically minded Project / Programme Management professional who has worked within the Energy, Oil & Gas, Nuclear or Power. 

Responsibilities:

• Lead end to end execution of identified opportunities from commercial, operational, regulatory and technical perspectives, in collaboration with functional teams across enrichment sites.
• Ensure maximum revenue and a strong customer base from existing product and services portfolio, generating and seeking out potential new opportunities and relationships.
• Deliver and advise on partnership and alliances including due diligence process; leading cross-functional teams on business case development and integration planning to ensure viable assessment.
• Managing project budget, timeline, and deliverables.
• Managing outputs on risks, returns and final recommendations to the Board for review and consideration.

• Identify and secure relevant approval and finance for any deal against a backdrop of safety, security, regulatory interest, people and organisational ‘fit’.
• Provide support to development of a business case.
• Be part of a new Business Development Team, guiding new ways of working and approaches during a period with significant changes.

This role will be offered on a permanent basis on a salary of up to £110,000 pa + package
