Following a period of sustained growth, we are now seeking to strengthen our existing Operations team with the appointment of a Welder Fabricator / Stores / Operations Assistant.

Welder Fabricator / Stores / Operations Assistant
Stoke Mandeville, Buckinghamshire
£25,000
Full Time Monday to Friday
25 days paid holiday plus bank holidays.

About The Role:

Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role will work within the Company Health and Safety policies to complete the following functions:

+ Fabricate items from mild steel to drawings provided to the correct tolerances. Previous experience of fabrication and welding is required for this role. The ability to work from engineering drawings unassisted will also be required.
+ Modify existing steel items by cutting and welding where required.
+ Most of the welding will be done at our warehouse however a small amount of onsite welding will be required. Transport to and from site will be in a vehicle provided by the company
+ Goods in / out – includes unloading containers – Forklift license will be an advantage
+ Identification and picking of product requirements for each client project.
+ Assist with the completion of works necessary to fulfil customer orders.
+ Assist with works necessary to carry out inspection, service or repair of equipment at Company premises or on client sites as required.
+ Assist with stock control and warehouse housekeeping.
+ Accompany Operations Engineer to assist delivery of products to site as required
+ Accompany Operations Engineer to attend sites and assist with various elements of site works
+ Any other Operational related activity required by the Company.

About You:

This role has regular client contact, so we are looking for someone with great communication skills.

This is a full time role and it involves lifting and moving materials and equipment, so applicants are required to be physically fit.
