A well-established engineering company that manufactures bespoke equipment for a range of industries. They have a strong reputation in the local area.
The Role
My client is looking for a manual machinist with a wide range of skills. You will be manufacturing high quality low volume components from start to finish. A lot of the work is 1 or 2 offs.
The responsibilities are listed below:
Working on a range of machinery, in particular mills and lathes
Working to high standards of accuracy and cleanliness
Using a range of materials
Working in a fast-paced environment
The Candidate
Manual milling and turning experience is required
Experience working to tight tolerances
An engineering qualification would be desirable but not essential
Must be able to read engineering drawings
It is highly beneficial if candidates have any fitting or assembly experience
The Package
The salary offered for this position is up to £27,000 per annum plus a competitive benefits package
