We have an exciting new role for an International Purchasing Analyst for one of our clients in Milton Keynes, this is a permanent position – Monday to Friday 40 hours per week.
Role
To plan, forecast, and procure stock, while ensuring the highest level of stock availability is maintained and excess stocks are at a minimum.
To ensure purchasing strategies are cost efficient and action improvements to provide the best possible cost of goods for the company
* Analysis of stock with the result of locating the correct stock in the correct place in a timely manner
* Forecast and manage the stock levels at company and depot level to ensure that capacity is not over reached.
* Capacity planning of incoming load build to ensure that purchase orders are planned to be delivered in a 'flat’ methodology
* Collaborate with other team members and colleagues on projects to introduce and refine improvements in KPI’s and working smarter
* Maintain and create reporting structure to provide full visibility of purchases made and on order.
* Ensure the order management systems are set to provide the most accurate data to provide optimum order planning
* Build effective relationships with manufacturers, factories and suppliers
* Manage stock values, order books and over due purchase orders
SKILLS REQUIRED
* Previous Purchasing experience
