Due to continued growth, my well-established Engineering client based in High Wycombe is currently looking to recruit a TIG Welder on a full-time permanent basis.
Candidates must be experienced with TIG welding, predominantly with Stainless Steel but any experience of more exotic materials such as Duplex, Inconel etc would be a distinct advantage. Candidates must be 6g qualified / coded, ideally able to work to ASME IX standards (or be willing to be put through this). Candidates from an aerospace background would definitely appeal to my client also.
You must be capable of reading engineers drawings and be happy working to strict standards.
Hours of work are 07.30 – 16.30 Monday to Thursday and 07.30 – 13.30 on Fridays.
The salary is negotiable and much depends on candidate skills and experience but typically starting between £15.00 – 16.00 per hour with scope for progression and salary increases once up to speed on specific company products. In addition, overtime is paid at 1.5 x the standard hourly rate.
