Technical Author/ High Wycombe

The Company
A well established and global leader, with manufacturing sites all over the world are looking to expand their workforce.

The Role
My client is looking for a Technical Author to drive to create compelling and useful technical documentation

The responsibilities are listed below:

•Organize group resources for projects on roadmap and contribute to the strategic direction of the Technical Publications group.

•Lead the day to day running of the Technical Publications group, including current projects and mentor new authors.

•Ensure compliance with Corporate Standards for design, safety and quality of all work carried out by group.

•Promote good communication with other departments globally across Instron to ensure that documentation is geared to customer requirements and can be produced efficiently.

•Design, create and maintain a wide range of documentation, from installation guides to online help, providing the most suitable content for target audiences.

•Practically evaluate company products in relation to manuals/usability.

The Candidate
1. Must have proven experience as a technical writer/author
2. Technical Engineering/Manufacturing background
3. Used to working in a busy environment
4. Fluent or highly proficient in both spoken and written English

The Package
The salary offered for this position is £40,000 -£45,000 Overtime to a candidate that can meet all key qualifications and abilities.
