Job Title: * Maintenance Operative *

Contract: * Permanent *

Location: Heathrow

Salary: £21,000 – £22,000

We are currently seeking an experienced maintenance operative on behalf of our client in Heathrow. Our client is the UK’s leader in relocatable accommodation including portable cabins, modular buildings, permanent buildings, secure storage, portable toilets, temporary kitchens and temporary fencing from locations throughout the UK.

This roles' main duty is to assist in the preparation of a range of cabins prior to them going out on hire.

Some of the Key Responsibilities include:

(Not all are required but the more you know the better)

* Manual preparation for painting.

* To complete PAT Testing

* To be able to use a B1 Forklift or Power Pallet Truck or Low Loader Picker

* To have a good mix of general maintenance skills

* To have a basic knowledge of power tools

* Be able to complete external lock fitting

* To be able to complete exterior door fitting

* To be able to repair and replace wall and ceiling boards

* To be able to replace plywood flooring

* Cleaning of units and fittings internally and externally

* To work closely with and assist tradespeople

* Continuously checking and working to company quality standards in line with customer expectations.

Work Experience

* Basic understanding and acceptance of Health & Safety rules.

* Good mix of general maintenance skills.

* Competent in the use of basic hand/power tools.

* Certificates in MPBA or ECA Nice to have but training will be given:

* Abrasive Wheels

* COSH

* Manual handling
