Our Client, based near Aylesbury is looking to employ a qualified and experienced Electrician to work at their busy site.

As a Hatchery Electrician you will be involved in the day-to-day maintenance of the machinery and equipment.

The successful candidate will be required to:

* Complete PPM checks

* Work alongside contractors

* Attend to breakdowns

* Find and rectify faults

* Carry out maintenance and repairs of machinery and equipment

* Ensure health and safety standards are always followed

* Monitor stocks of mechanical and electrical spares

* Conduct improvement projects as agreed with the manager

* Assist the team in the production process

Candidate Requirements:

* Must be qualified in 18th Edition of the IEE Wiring Regulations

* Experience of single and three phase supplies

* Knowledge of facilities maintenance, PLCs, automated controls, and safety compliance (advantageous)

* Flexible approach to working hours

* A good understanding of Health and Safety

* Salary on offer is approx. £30,000 – 31,000 per annum – based on an hourly rate of £13.62 per hour.
