We are looking for an experienced electrician to join one of our fantastic national clients .
Our client is one of the UK’s largest food businesses, who are playing a critical role in keeping the nation fed. They are continuing to operate and are looking for motivated people to join our team as an Electrician based at Quainton, Buckinghamshire.

Purpose of the role
As the Electrician, you will be involved in the day to day maintenance of the hatchery machinery and equipment.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Complete PPM checks
* Work alongside contractors
* Attend breakdowns
* Carry out maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment
* Ensure Health and Safety standards are maintained at all times
* Monitor and keep stocks of mechanical/electrical spares
* Conduct improvement projects as agreed with manager
* Assist the hatchery team in the hatching process as and when required
What we are looking for:
* Good level of English and basic numeracy skills
* The ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively
* Good attention to detail and a flexible attitude to tasks
* 17th Edition of IEE wiring regulations essential, 18th Edition desirable and
* Experience of single and three phase supplies
* Knowledge of facilities maintenance, PLC’S, automated controls and safety compliance would be an advantage
* Experience within a production/manufacturing environment is desirable
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday 06.00 – 15:30
Onsite cover will also be required 1 in 5 from Fri 15:30 until Sunday 15:30 – call out rate of Time & Half.
During this time, you would be required to stay within 15 mins of the Site.
