Responsibilities:
Building the Swish Network is the next main focus of the business and it is time to recruit an experienced Construction Project Manager to support the next stage of growth. Reporting into the Senior Project Manager, the Project Manager’s role is to coordinate the successful completion of the project deliverables, liaising with internal and external project stakeholders, on time and to budget, in line with the requirements set out under the NEC3 contract and the business requirements.
Requirements:
* Demonstrate strong leadership skills and managing the support functions who report into the role and rely on them appropriately to ensure the project is completed on time and to budget.
* Decide if delays to correcting defects will prevent the contractor from being paid and manage the payment adjustments for each defect
* Issue any Early Warnings to the contractor and try and resolve these without escalation to a compensation event and keeping an up to date Risk Register and share regularly with the supervisor.
* Changing the works information and giving clear instructions to the supervisor and the contractor.
* Hold and manage Risk Reduction meetings on a regular basis with contractor and report the outcome of the meeting to the Operations Manager.
* Regular communication with the Design Managers to ensure any changes are reflected in the Works Information pack and these changes are clearly shared with the contractor and supervisor
