Job Description
We are looking for a caring and enthusiastic Support Worker who is passionate about supporting people with a learning disability, to enable the people we support to live as independently as possible in our service in Princes Risborough. We have a part time position available for 15 to 22.5 hours a week on a permanent basis.
Our supported living service is home to six adults who have learning disabilties and dementia. The people we support require full support with things like personal care, finances, cooking, shopping and household chores. They enjoy a wide range of activities including going for walks, eating out at restaurants, theatre and cinema and attending various local clubs. Three of the people we support have volunteer and paid jobs.
There are various shift patterns available between 07.00 – 22.00 as well as sleep in's 22.00 – 07.00. Sleep in shifts are paid additional to your contracted hours. We will require someone who is happy to work weekends.
