What we are looking for in a Sheet Metal Fabricator:
Precision sheet metal worker with CNC folding experience for a reputable manufacturing Company.
An immediate start is available for the right person.
Key Responsibilities of the Sheet Metal Fabricator:
* To understand priorities and to work towards achieving delivery objectives
* To always adhere to company procedures
* To always maintain a high level of housekeeping
* Maintaining a high standard of Health & Safety in general and with particular attention to the immediate work area, reporting any concerns to the line manager
Essential Skills and Knowledge of the Sheet Metal Fabricator:
* Working with thin gauge sheet metal (mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium)
* Folding (Press Brake)
* Punching (CNC Punch)
* A good basic standard of education is required with an engineering bias
* Good practical skills
* Comfortable working to deadlines
* Should have a strong team work ethic, with the ability to work unsupervised
* Ability to read engineering drawings and instructions
* Able to take instruction and complete those with a high attention to detail
Preferred but not Essential Skills and Knowledge:
* Hold a recognised engineering qualification/completion of apprenticeship
* Hardworking and able to work on your own initiative
What else do I need to know:
Full time 40.5 Hour Week (Monday – Thursday 8am-5pm, Friday 8am-3pm)
22 Days Holiday plus Bank Holidays
