Workshop / Field Engineer (split 50/50) – Mechanical & Electrical

Princes Risborough

Paying up to £31,000 (OTE £34k to £38k) + Training + Overtime (10 hours per week) + VAN

Split between 

RSD Recruitment are currently working with a rapidly growing hire business based in Princes Risborough, they are looking for a candidate who is mechanically and electrically minded who is able to repair specialist machinery.

Required is a Workshop Engineer with experience in the hire industry to work within the Princes Risborough depot! The work will include repair and service of a wide variety of specialist flooring machinery, including, floor sweepers, vacuums and scrubber dryers. The client is able to train on all pieces of machinery, so this is a fantastic opportunity to become a well-rounded engineer!

The machinery you will be working on is specialist flooring equipment, the machinery is both mechanical and electrical so candidates who have experience working with 110V, 4 stroke petrol engines, diesel engines, 415V, bearings and belts should apply!

The role is really varied and the candidate will sometimes be required to travel to customer sites to repair their machinery, this is a fantastic opportunity to grow as an engineer but to also gain client facing skills!

Roles & Responsibilities

Carry out planned service and maintenance of plant machinery
Service, fault find and carry out breakdown repairs.
Maintenance of power tools, floor planes, scabblers, grinders
Maintaining Petrol and Diesel machines
Knowledge, Skills & Experience

Experience with mechanical/electrical engineering Benefits Package
Salary up to £31k basic
Overtime available
