Systems Accountant – based in Princes Risborough, Bucks – £34,000 – £40,000, full time equivalent, for 21 hours per week, across 4-5 days per week

I am delighted to seeking a Systems Accountant for my client, who are very proud of their achievements to date. They operate within the UK, and employ over 120 people in their office, with plans to add more talented people to their team each year. This is a newly created role, that ideally would suit individuals who offer some previous Systems Accounting experience, be able to work part time hours (across 4-5 days per week in the office)

You will support the Head of Finance and work within a Finance team of 8, and you will provide a high level of standard within your work and are likely to have covered a previous Systems Accounting role previously and recently in the UK.

This is a really exciting time to be joining the company as they are expanding, and adding more staff members to the growing, well established business.

Your role will most certainly be varied and will include:

– Developing and managing systems and processes

– Ensure the effectiveness and efficient processing of financial and non-financial data

– To review and to look at the range of management tools and reports used internally

– Work closely with the other members of the finance team and IT teams, to ensure the effective delivery of its overall aims and it's long term systems

– Process and Control improvements that approved by the Head of Finance

– Identify and implement potential systems improvements

– Manage finance systems upgrades and ensuring a successful testing and implementation of all new systems/processes

– Review all accounting software, CRM's and work with 3rd part providers

– Ad-hoc projects (systems, transformation and looking at new ways of working)

The ideal profile for the successful Part Time Systems Accountant will include:

– Recent Systems Accountant experience – and be able to work part time hours in the office each day

– Be systems savvy and able to multi task at all times

– Offer Advanced software skills

– Be a strong team player and be able to train finance and non-finance personnel on a suite of systems

– Be Team spirited, focussed and happy to communicate with all levels of personnel
