Holden Jones is exclusively recruiting a newly created role that reports to the Group Finance Director, which will involve assisting in all day to day accounts tasks, working in a department of 5, to ensure the accurate and timely accounting reporting. In greater detail, this will involve the following duties:
Responsible for sales and purchase ledger transactions
Production of supplier payment files and remittances
Maintain cash receipts and payments
Processing invoices and reconciling statements
General ledger journals
Credit control
Monitoring of cash flow / bank reconciliation
Assisting with month-end
Applicants should have had some general accounting experience with ideally knowledge of both sides of the ledger. The system is bespoke so the ability to learn new technology, as well as being Excel-literate is essential. The company’s aim is to become, and remain, best in class at efficiency and cost control in accurate accounting and reporting. Studies towards AAT may also be considered.
