Our highly successful client, established for over 25 years, is looking to recruit an Accounts Administrator to perform routine accounting functions to support the office. This will include bookkeeping, accounts receivable, accounts payable, providing information for tax returns and assisting the Business Operations Manager with month end and annual audit procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
• Processing of Accounts Payable and Receivable
• Checking and coding invoices
• Supplier payment runs
• Bank and statement reconciliations
• Dealing with general accounts queries
• Assisting with the month end process
• Credit control
• Any other ad-hoc finance/office administration duties
Special Requirements
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an accounts environment
• Knowledge/experience of bookkeeping procedures
• Experience using Sage 200 (desirable)
• Excellent computer skills, including knowledge of spreadsheet/database applications
• Strong math skills with the ability to work accurately with numbers
• Good organisational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with others
• Ability to work independently and co-operatively within a team environment
• Ability to meet tight deadlines, ensuring accuracy with highly confidential material
