In-House Recruiter
Purpose of the job
Using a variety of recruitment techniques, you will be responsible for managing the candidate journey from beginning to end. You will source, qualify, and manage the end-to-end recruitment process for live vacancies, as well as building pipelines for future recruitment demands and continually keep up to date with recruitment trends and changes in the market. The In-House Recruiter is responsible for performing all aspects of the recruitment cycle. Liaising with hiring managers and other stakeholders and reporting to the HR Manager. The In-House Recruiter will be required to work both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Managing key stakeholder relationships across the business. As a valued partner and trusted advisor, you’ll build a deep understanding of each divisions’ role requirements and desired candidate profiles to drive the best possible outcomes.
* Full lifecycle co-ordination of vacancies which includes but not limited to; management of resourcing campaigns for volume hiring, active/passive candidate sourcing, talent selection, interview scheduling, McQuaig profiling and employment offers and associated vetting inc. DBS checks and Right to Work verification.
* Managing candidate expectations throughout the recruitment process ensuring candidates have relevant and timely feedback in relation to applications and interviews attended and delivering a positive experience
* Identifying high quality candidates through the proactive sourcing of active and passive candidates via multiple recruitment channels. This includes building talent pipelines to fill current and future roles while driving improvements across time to hire targets.
* Utilising our applicant tracking system to actively track, manage and report on candidate pipelines to enhance stakeholder communication across the business
* Instrumental in the recruitment of Building Services Engineers – Entry Level Apprentices.
* Co-ordinate ILM3 and ILM5 Cohorts (utilising Government Levy Scheme)
* Coordinate with universities and industry associations in relation to targeted hires including ex-Military Veteran hires.Maintain Weekly Recruitment Tracker – identifying ‘Spotlight Priority Roles’.
* Co-ordinating bi-weekly internal vacancy list and posting external job profiles to CVLibrary, LinkedIn & Pretium.
* Analysing Pretium (weekly and monthly) reports to create focused Management Information.
* Represent the business as resourcing subject matter expert with a strong personal brand so that you operate as a brand ambassador attracting high calibre talent.
* Build candidate relationships that are enduring for future roles that we haven’t yet identified.
Required experience or skills:
* Experience of working in recruitment or customer centric role
* Experience in a fast-paced sales or customer service environment
* Self-motivated, target-driven and goal-orientated
* Exceptional work ethic, energetic, organised, tenacious.
* Graduate calibre
* Knowledge of current recruitment trends and methodologies.
* Knowledge of UK employment/discrimination legislation.
* Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
* Engaging telephone manner.
* Computer literacy, including intermediate/advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and experience with Applicant Tracking tools (ideally, Taleo ATS).
* Good team player but able to work well independently and with minimal supervision.
* Flexible and accommodating and able to go above and beyond basic expectations when required.
Licenses and/or Professional Accreditation
• CIPD would be considered an asset
