The role is to ensure that business processes and supporting systems continue to meet business project stakeholder needs. A vital part of ensuring operations continues to produce without interruption. You will be responsible for driving the creation of process models (primarily conceptual/logical level models, often using business process analysis [BPA] tools) and work with others to provide the supporting process ecosystem and implementations (including screen interactions, dashboards, rule management and optimisation algorithms).
This position deals with the more tactical, day-to-day aspects of discovering, validating, documenting, and communicating business-process-related knowledge through modelling, simulating and analysing current and future states. A great opportunity for an individual who has gained strong experience within this field, who has a hands on approach.
Primary Responsibilities:
* Defines and documents business functions and processes.
* Identifies opportunities for improving business processes through information systems and/or non-system driver changes; assists in the preparation of proposals to develop new systems and/or operational changes.
Knowledge/Skills:
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
* Strong presentation, spreadsheet, flow charting, and word processing applications skills
* Enterprise Resource Planning System JD Edwards
* Strong Time management and organizational skills
* Intermec (Honeywell) RF Scanners
* Manage all tickets coming into SD Level 1 Queue for all BU's via Portal and email ingestion:
* Review Ticket to ensure relevant fields are populated
* Ensure ClassificationImpactUrgencyPriority is appropriate
* Initial troubleshooting
* If not successful, document and escalate to L2/L3 for resolution
* Password Resets for all BU's – could include Business Apps that do not use SSO (ex: AS/400 iSeries)
* Will require Active Directory Access to all OU's for SD Level 1's
* Account Creation, Updates, Removal – Active Directory, Lync, iSeries, Portal, Thrive, etc.
* Troubleshoot Commercial Apps – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Box, etc.
* Troubleshoot Basic Hardware and Operating System Basics – Laptops, Desktops
* ShoreTel Support
* Cell Phone Support
* Network and Wi-Fi – Basic Connectivity Troubleshooting
* KACE (Service Desk Ticketing Tool)
* Outage Identification for SiteRegion as a result of active queue monitoring
* Ticket Lifecycle Management – Monitor for Aging/Stalled Tickets and push to resolution
* Service Request Processing and Monitoring (i.e., New Hires, Shared Folder Approval and Access, Printer Mapping)
