Allstaff Recruitment are currently seeking a Product Owner – Software based in Olney for a global leading key and asset management company.

Summary of the Product Owner – Software role…

Salary: £50,000 per annum
Location: Olney
Type of Contract: Permanent, Full-time.
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm flexible. Office-based initially but then remote working is an option.

The role…

As the Product Owner – Software your role will involve the following important duties:

* Work closely with the Product Managers and other key stakeholders to ensure products meet the needs of customers using Agile methodologies.

* Act as the main point of contact for answering functionality and user experience queries internally and externally, validating these with other key stakeholders to align with market needs.

* Work with the Product Managers and R&D team to translate customer needs into appropriately detailed user stories.

* Work on hardware and software solutions for Web-based administration systems

* Have a technical appreciation in order to contribute to the enhancement of existing products or use them as a basis for new ideas.

The experience required…

As a successful Product Owner – Software, you will have the following:

* 3+ years of proven experience as a product owner working with Agile teams and methodologies.

* Demonstrable background in investigating, analysing and documenting clear requirements, epics, user stories and acceptance criteria.

* Active listener, with outstanding communication, presentation and leadership skills.

* Highly organised, self-disciplined with strong planning and time management skills.

* Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Products.

Desirables…

* Experience with Jira and Confluence.

* Certified Scrum Product Owner.

* Have a user acceptance testing background.

* Experience in working with both hardware and software solution and a number of aligned vertical markets.
