Our client seeks a Product Manager with experience of migrating a product into a Cloud based solution, who will be responsible for shaping the next generation of their software platform.

The Product Manager will be responsible for shaping the vision, strategy and the reality of this Cloud-based platform. This includes building a focused roadmap and long-term generation plan for the platform. You will regularly undertake Voice of the Customer research to establish the functional and non-functional requirements as well as any service expectations. You will be working with the product owners and multiple R&D scrum teams to define and deliver the user stories and be part of user acceptance testing the solution.

As part of your role you will take the lead in defining Product launch responsibility, bringing the product to the market & equipping the regions and distributors for success. Work with marketing on a regular basis to ensure product messaging is accurate, punchy and relevant.

To be considered for this role, you will have at least 5 years’ experience as a Product Manager working in a technology based environment with Agile development teams and methodologies. 3 years’ experience of CLOUD based end-to-end software development, including leadership of at least one major cloud based product launch.

You will have a solid understanding of cloud ecosystems and technology from major platform players such as AWS, Azure and others. Customer-focused with significant customer facing experience and practiced in evaluating priorities and managing stakeholder expectations.

Candidates should have a solid understanding of data networking principles as well as a passion for the latest developments and best practice in Cloud based software and technology. You will have a good understand of the benefits and options for different commercial hosting and service models and how they could be applied to the business.

You will be self-motivated, inquisitive and results oriented, who thrives in a fast paced environment. You will also have a focus on continuous improvement to enhance business performance.

A background in both hardware (physical products) and more importantly software development is preferred, as too is experience with Jira and Confluence.

On offer is a package worth up to £80,000 depending on experience. This role will be based from our client’s offices in Olney, Buckinghamshire, with a mix of home working and some travel to client site
