Bar Manager/Chef/Partner
The Carlton House Club Olney

An opportunity has arisen at our club as we are seeking to appoint an experienced and professional Bar Manager/Chef/Partner to maintain this very successful and busy club.

Day to day responsibilities will include the smooth running of four bars including a large busy function room, cellar management including keeping of real ales, stock control, stock ordering, line cleaning, cash management, management of staff, maintaining health & safety standards and other ad-hoc duties as required. Full responsibility for stock is necessary for which a bond will be needed.

The club also provides food including a Sunday lunch carvery, and also hosts private functions such as wedding receptions, birthdays, funerals and meetings for local groups.

We also host live music events.

The ideal candidate should be friendly, efficient, have previous experience and possess excellent communication and social skills.

They will need to work well alongside the bar team and the club committee and a good interactive relationship with the club members is also expected.

Salary is negotiable with 25 days annual leave.

Living accommodation is provided in the form of a 4 bedroom flat as part of the contract.
