Due to new contract wins and continued success in the market, our client who are a national contractor specialising in the supply and installation of traffic signs, lighting, civils and associated work, are looking for a Pre Construction Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.

The successful candidate should have at least 5 years' experience in an Estimator role and ideally have previous line-management experience.

Ideally you should have a background in either Civil works, Highways, Streetlighting or Utilities and have experience of NEC 3/4 contracts.

Key responsibilities:

* Manage a team of 3 Estimating Engineers

* Working closely with both Senior Management and Engineering team to ensure that bids are compliant with the tender requirements whilst at the same time, identifying and considering the associated commercial risks and opportunities.

* Taking the lead on higher-value Bids

* Production of monthly Estimating reports

* Forecasting / Budgeting

* Maintaining client relationships

* Identifying new business opportunities

Experienced Estimators without Management experience will also be considered should they have the required skill set and the drive to progress to a Management position.

Candidates must have previous experience in a similar role in order to be considered for this role.
