Main Responsibilities

* Raising Payment Applications

* Reviewing design details to identify changes and variations to design

* Identification of variations to contracts, pricing and negotiating with clients

* Working closely with the Operations Team to identify progression of works, programme progress and procurement timescales

* Regularly meeting with the client to discuss completed works, along with any discrepancies and work in progress (WIP) Requirements

* Review of cashflow position of projects

* Visiting project sites and liaising with commercial functions on site

* Assisting the Commercial Manager in commercial meetings and other activities

Experience

* 2+ years as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor in a delivery-led role

* Experience within the Utilities or renewables sectors

* Ambitious and hard-working

* Experience working directly on site

* Experience with take offs and site measuring

* Experience with construction contract forms (NEC, FIDIC and/or JCT)

* Willingness to travel and work away from home when required

* Highly inquisitive mind

* Strong relationship skills

* Fully proficient with MS Office package
