Sales Order Administrator
Our client is a global leader in electronic key and locker management solutions, they are an award-winning company and growing from strength to strength. A great opportunity has arisen within their fast-paced Sales Team, to support the ever-growing maintenance within company.
As a Sales Order Administrator will be responsible for renewal of software licences, sales order processing and invoicing. You will report to Supervisor Order Entry Team / Export and Dispatch Manager.
Tasks
* Understand the processes required to support the full sales order processing function of following product types: – Software Licences and Partner Programs – Maintenance Contracts – Site visits.
* Renew software licences and partner programs for customers following defined processes and procedures in a timely and effective manner.
* Communicate with customers, both by telephone and by e-mail, to ensure that software licences are renewed in a timely and efficient manner.
* Maintain the necessary records of software licences due and renewed so that the overall licensing process can be monitored and reviewed, and that backlog is minimised.
* Enter orders, understanding the quirks of each of the categories above, to the ERP system using manual, excel template and EDI interfaces.
* Raise customer invoices giving discounts and charging VAT appropriately.
* Answer customer and distributor calls relating to orders and invoicing queries.
* Ensure records are maintained and filed regularly.
* Provide reports for customers as required.
* Additionally, you may be expected processing purchase orders including other type of product.
Requirements
* Attention to detail
* Work well under pressure and willingness to learn on the job.
* Good communication skills
* Proactive approach to resolving issues and team player
* Educated to minimum of GCSE level with a pass in Maths and English.
* Experience with Microsoft Office
* Previous history of customer services / general office duties.
Package
Salary – £20,000 – £21,000 + Bi-annual discretionary bonus totalling £1,000
Hours – 8.00am – 4.30pm Monday – Friday
Location – Olney
Pension – Company pension scheme 5%
Holiday allowance – 25 days holiday + bank holidays + ex-gratia day for Christmas Eve
