Cowan Recovery t/a CMG are seeking applications from experienced Invoice Administrators to work within our Accounts Department at our Head Office.

Reporting to the Finance Director and Accounts Office Manager, this is a full-time position – Mon to Fri, 08:30 to 17:00 – based at our Accounts Office in Newport Pagnell.

The main purpose of the role is to ensure all customer invoices are raised in a timely and accurate manner. Diverse work types along with new revenue streams make this an ever-evolving role. You will be required to work well in a team environment, have good IT skills and be particularly proficient using excel. The majority of the work will be using the APEX RMS software system, of which knowledge would be advantageous but on which full training would be given. The role requires an eye for detail, the ability to prioritise your workload to meet deadlines and at times deal with high volumes of work.

Due to the nature of our works, you will be required to undergo Police Vetting. We do understand that not everyone is a Saint all the time so please feel free to contact us if you have any concerns around minor or spent offences prior to applying.

Duties:

* Prepare and invoice different types of work from the APEX RMS system

* Ensure all customers specific invoicing requirements are fulfilled with regards to back-up information, proof of delivery and reporting

* Obtain order numbers from customers where required

* Take ownership of and resolve invoice queries

* Obtain and verify costs from Sub contractors and invoice customers accordingly

* Authorise Sub Contac tractors invoices using Zahara (Invoice Approval Software)

* Communicate confidently with staff at all levels within the business to be able to obtain the information required to produce accurate invoices

* Answer incoming communication as part of the accounts team
