Due to promotion from within, our client is recruiting for a Warehouse Team Leader to join their team on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity to progress as this business really believes in investing in their staff.

Some of your duties as a Warehouse Team Leader will be:

* Managing a small team of FLT drivers, machine operatives, and production staff

* Motivate staff to achieve KPIs

* Monitor sickness/absence

* Stock management – review and rotate stock

* Control product storage

* Management of customer returns

* Control overtime and agency spending

* Control recycling of all warehouse waste materials

* Ensure all Health & Safety procedures are adhered to

* Improve efficiency in warehouse

The shift pattern for the Warehouse Team Leader role is a 4 on/4off basis, consisting of 2 days followed by 2 nights. The working hours will be 06:00-18:00 when on day shifts, and 18:00-06:00 when on nights.

To be a successful Warehouse Team Leader, you will have the following skills:

* Strong leadership

* Highly organised

* Able to build relationships

* Demonstrable experience in a warehouse environment

* Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred but not essential.
