As IT Infrastructure Specialist, this role has a clear and dedicated focus on Infrastructure projects and support.

Responsibilities / Competencies as a IT Infrastructure Specialist
* Deliver key hardware and software projects, including business process improvements, AD, and file storage strategic changes
* Provide support to a range of business and technical projects
* Coach the IT support team to help develop infrastructure knowledge
* Willing to work outside of normal hours to ensure minimal disruption to business
* Familiar with standard security compliance standards including Data Protection and CI-DSS
* Enterprise mobility and security, including MDM solutions
* Provide input to technical strategy developments as well as tactical improvements.
* SD-WAN and data centre management experience.
* Retail knowledge & technology desirable but not essential – EPOS systems
* Understands and works as part of TOGAF, working with a high-level approach to design
* This role is reporting directly to the Infrastructure Team Leader with a clear and dedicated focus on Infrastructure projects and support.

Qualifications, knowledge, and experience as a IT Infrastructure Specialist
* Minimum 3 Years sys admin in similar industry, FMCG, Retail / Hospitality
* Strong IT Infrastructure and security experience.
* Ability to research and implement relevant technical solutions
* Functional knowledge of all components of the overall IT platform including network, server, operating systems, and applications.
* On-prem Server Software, security auditing and patching
* Firewall best practice for FortiGate and Firewall rules.
* Vulnerability assessment and remediation
* Knowledge of ISO27001
* Practical knowledge of risk assessment processes & methodologies to make risk-based recommendations, and/or requirements to adopt and deploy compensating controls for effective mitigating measures
* Switch security and management, Aruba central

You may also have experience as a IT Technical Specialist, Infrastructure Support, Infrastructure Engineer, Infrastructure Project Manager etc
