Overview

A highly successful and growing Electrical Contractor are looking for a Graduate Electrical Design Engineer to assist in their Design team.

They work in a number of sectors including commercial, industrial and also data centres. They work on projects throughout the UK and can boast an exceptional array of long-term clients and as a result are enjoying a good period of growth.

The ideal candidate will be a Graduate of Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering and also have some experience in working with CAD.

They have excellent opportunities internally and well-known for developing their staff.

Roles and Responsibilities

* Responsible to carry out detailed calculation for electrical services

* Providing tender design drawings for electrical services such as Lighting services distribution, Small Power Distribution, External Lighting design using Dialux/Relux software,

* Providing tender design drawings for building security systems, access control system, CCTV, fire alarm system, data and telecommunication services and cable routing.

* Liaising closely with management team

* Make sure jobs meet Building regulation, British standards, employer’s requirements and health and safety requirements

* Undertake Auto CAD draughting

Person Specification

* Electrical or relevant degree

* Building services electrical knowledge

* Attention to detail

* Looking to progress career
