Our client is looking for an experienced Sous Chef to join their already talented team of chefs in this excellent high-end food Restaurant in Newport Pagnell, Buckinghamshire
This award winning restaurant famous for their steaks counter serving locally raised Bedfordshire Beef and an a la carte menu inspired by classic dishes from their culinary past recreated to a unique modern style. The restaurant is part of a 16 en-suite bedroom hotel, which also utalises the local Village Hall to host private functions and events
The Role:
We are looking for someone who needs to be passionate about great seasonal ingredients, bring energy, have stamina & inspiration. As a Sous Chef you must communicate well with others, can carry out instructions, is able to pay close attention to detail and will commit to providing outstanding service to our guests.
Your Experience will ideally consist of:
•3+ yrs at CDP level or 1yr as Sous Chef in a fresh food environment
•Have own transport due to location.
•Be a hardworking person with a can-do attitude
•Must have experience working in a busy restaurant (grill experience preferred)
•Have good communication skills
•Be guest focused
•Be passionate about food
•Be able to work daytime, evenings and weekends

•£28,000 based on 45 hours per week. (£12.00ph – every hour is paid including overtime
•Hourly Pay – paid every hour worked.
•Rota/Shift work – 5 days out of 7 including evenings and weekends.
•Christmas Period Off – we close from Christmas Day (inclusive) until 1st week of January.
•Profit share/GP bonus.
•Equal Share of Tips.
