Transport Coordinator – Waste management

TRANSPORT SUPERVISOR / TRAFFIC CONTROLLER ROLE WITH WASTE MANAGEMENT, RECYCLING AND AGGREGATES COMPANY

TITLE: Transport Supervisor / Traffic Controller – Waste Management & Recycling

My client now has an excellent opportunity for a skilled Transport Planner / Traffic Controller / Coordinator / Supervisor to join their team. Waste Management and Construction Recycling industry, now is an excellent time to join their busy depot as part of a critical team within the business.

SALARY: £25,000 plus pension
Hours 7.30am – 5pm Monday – Friday and 1 Saturday morning per month paid as overtime

REGION: You will be considered from the following areas: Milton Keynes, Bletchley and Newport Pagnell and the surrounding area

You will take incoming calls and emails for orders of waste services. Log them onto the system and liaise with the transport manager for delivery
Any experience in taking a large volume of calls and managing several tasks at once will be beneficial for the role
You must have a good telephone manner

You may have been a Transport Supervisor, Traffic Controller, Telesales executive, Office administrator , Transport Planner, Depot Team Leader, Logistics Controller, Traffic Coordinator, Dispatcher.

ROLE: Transport Coordinator – Office based – Waste Management & Recycling

You will be responsible taking orders from incoming calls and general transport duties

EXPERIENCE: Transport Coordinator – Office based

You will have excellent planning skills and a good working knowledge of Milton Keynes and the local surrounding areas.

You will be extremely committed and be able to demonstrate stability in previous roles.

Good communication and organisation skills are a must for this position.

You could have worked in a Waste Management, Recycling, Aggregates, Tippers, Planner, Muckaway, Skip Hire, Plant Hire, Demolition, Building Supplies or Construction, Haulage, Distribution, Logistics, Traffic, Bulk Drop – Offs, Bulk Carrier, Dispatch or similar environment in your past roles
