Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineer – £25k-£35k – Buckinghamshire – Electro-mechanical

My client specialises in the design, manufacture and worldwide distribution of powered electro-mechanical products. As part of the company’s expansion plan, they are looking to grow the engineering team with a passionate Manufacturing Engineer to work on a range of different production projects along with the design & development of new innovative products.

Main Duties:

+ Improve the manufacturability of current products

+ Design and assemble custom tooling

+ Improve process and product quality

+ 3D CAD design

+ Prototyping and testing

+ Product validation

+ Work in a multi-disciplinary design team

Experience & Skills Required:

+ Degree in Engineering or equivalent

+ Experience of lean manufacturing & DFM processes

+ 3D CAD skills – Ideally solidworks

+ Tooling design

+ Hands on and practical – prototyping

+ Experience in reading complex electro/mechanical technical drawings

The salary will be between £25,000-£35,000 depending on experience. There is also a generous benefit package available.
