The Candidate | What Are We Looking For?
As Director of Sales, you will manage the new business acquisition and existing business function in new and existing markets to encourage profitable sales growth.
In your first few weeks as a flexible Sales Director, you can expect to:
* Develop the sales strategy, market tactics, and sales plans.
* Inspire real growth in the business from sales channels.
* Provide feedback from the market for new product development initiatives .
* Give structure and direction to sales teams for effective account management and new business opportunities.
To be successful in this sales role, you will need a proven track record in growing a business (10+ years) by selling products to distribution networks, ideally instrumentation product portfolios, and growing the networks. You will also need a desire to make a real difference and work with the management team to take the business to the next level in the UK and internationally.
