About the opportunity:
This is a great opportunity for an Architectural Technician to progress into an Architectural Technician / Technical Coordinator role as the role will be a 50/50 split between producing working drawings and technical coordination. The benefits of this is also you will doing partly what you know whilst learning the coordination side so it’s a great stepping stone into the world of Technical Coordination so you won’t be thrown it at the deep end but will be gaining career progression.
You will be coordinating the delivery of Architectural elements of the technical function across 2-3 projects at any one time; coordinating the consultant drawings; checking architectural drawings; preparing house type working drawing packages; coordinating all stages of building control and coordinating all stages of structural warranty applications and assisting in procurement of utilities and diversions as required.
About the benefits and rewards:
In general, salaries will take into consideration a number of factors including market practice, the individuals experience and responsibilities and pay structures within the company itself. Salaries will be set at a mutually agreeable level with set parameters to increase in line with performance. In this instance, the company are looking to pay up to £45,000 basic salary plus package.
Benefits will also include 9% pension contribution, annual discretionary bonus; a car allowance or company car; 25 days holiday and private medical and life assurance.
About the requirements:
Degree qualified in Architectural Technology or similar, ideally, you will have residential development experience with an Architectural Practice, In-House Design team or Residential Developer. A previous track record of preparing house type working drawing packages is needed along with previous experience in a similar coordination role ideally working multiple projects
